Soft Tissue Injuries

A soft tissue injury is one that does not involve the fracture (break) of bone.  With a sprain, there is damage to one or more ligaments of a joint.  A strain involves injury to muscle and/or tendon.  A contusion (bruise) is an injury to the skin and underlying tissues.
